Heidi Update!

Heidi is doing well with her Homeschool. We are learning some of the curriculum we ordered is not what we thought and have ordered some new ones. Some of her old friends do not understand her decision to homeschool and think she will be bored to death and not have much social interaction. Since homeschooling, I have worn the tread off my tires! She is involved in so many different things... At church she was placed in Leadership and is over the Youth Outreach Ministry. She has meetings 3 nights a week at the church (which is 14 miles one way!) Thank God for another Mother whose son is also in Leadership that lives close to us and we carpool. She is also the Teacher's Assistant for her former Math Teacher that is now teaching 3rd and 4th grade at a new Christian School 2 days a week. Her first day he had her teaching English to the 3rd Graders. She is really enjoying it. Her name was also given to a Mother at our church who has an adopted 8 year old daughter that suffers from Extreme Detachment Disorder and would like Heidi to be her "Buddy" and spend time with her. In addition to this she is doing her horse therapy with disable children. So any of you that thought Heidi would be bored with Homeschool rest assured she is not! She is enjoying every minute of it.
