Sorry So Long!

Wow, it has been a long time since I have updated everyone. Not that our life is boring and there is nothing to write, there seems to be so much, no time to sit down and tell you all about it. I look forward to boring to tell you the truth!

Heidi and Roger are in Israel and Caleb and I are trying to hold down the fort. Boy do I appreciate Roger getting up on the cold mornings and feeding all the horses. I have had to the last week and a half while he has been gone. I am also thankful for Kelly (Ranch hand) feeding them in the evenings so I don't have to. We had a very sad thing that happened before Roger and Heidi left for Israel. Caleb's horse, "Wink" broke her leg and we had to put her down. It was such a tough time seeing Caleb hug her neck and tell her, "Good-Bye" before the vet gave her "the shot." Thankfully we all went in the house and Kelly and the vet took care of her.

Here are a few things Heidi and Roger got to do during their trip to Israel...
Rode a Camel, shopped in Bethlehem, Baptised in the Jordan River, Floated in the Dead Sea,
Sat on King Herod's potty etc.... Who else can say they sat on a King's potty?

To update you on Caleb's success on "Green Day" this is the actual picture taken before school of how he looked. And yes, he did win first place! No, the price was not an IPOD like he had hoped. It was a 2 liter of soda. maybe next time!

This is Heidi and her friend "Jared." Jared is also homeschooled and they decided to make boats one day and race them down the canal. Jared's won! They looked so mature sitting at the kitchen counter cutting and pasting away!

"PFG"

Heidi is out with her "PFG" (Passion for God) Group she founded, collecting cans of food for a Shelter. Here, her group is getting ready to pass out snack bags they put together for the homeless. The day before it was almost 80. This day it was snowing, raining and in the low 30's.

Caleb's school is having a "Spirit Day" and giving a prize to the kid who wears the most green. He's GOT to win!

Here are pics from where we went out to eat for my Birthday. We went to an old house in the Canyon that was turned into a Lodge/Restaurant. This dog belongs to the owner. He looked like he wanted to eat us on our way in, but Caleb sure made friends with him on the way out.

Heidi and all her hard work! She really pulled it off! She even got grounded in the process. I caught her hiding in the laundry room and talking on the phone. I got so mad and took her phone away. How was I supposed to know she was calling and inviting people to my Surprise Party? Sorry Angel!

P.S. Noone told Caleb until right before the party. He's not that good at keeping secrets.
